Join us for a powerful celebration of youth, voice, and poetry as founder of Young Lions Roar, Aubrey Barnes, hosts the Regional Poetry Out Loud Competition at Skylark QC! 🎤✨
Poetry Out Loud is a national poetry recitation competition that encourages high school students to choose, memorize, and perform poems from a curated anthology, helping them build confidence, sharpen public speaking skills, and deepen their appreciation for literature and performance. Participants compete at local, regional, and state levels for the opportunity to advance toward the national finals.
Come support talented student performers as they bring classic and contemporary works to life through expressive recitation, judged by a panel using official Poetry Out Loud criteria. Whether you’re a poetry lover or curious about spoken word performance, this event offers a fun and inspiring experience for all!
